Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is a businesswoman, inventor also an actor and model. Her career began in Australia, and later moved to Hollywood, where she has achieved great successes. George is from the city of Perth native, and was drawn initially in rolling and dancing. In 1992, she began her career as a model when she was just in her teens. She was voted Western Australia's teens' Model of the Year in 1992. The following year, she appeared on the screen for an episode of the soap opera on Seven Network called Home and Away. When she made her first appearance on the big screen, in Dark City's mystery thriller she appeared in various supporting roles as a supporting actress in Alias The Limey, Down with Love and a variety of other shows before landing her first part as a female lead in the mainstream of Hollywood with the remake of 2005's The Amityville Horror. Her current role is among Hollywood's most sought after Australian expatriates. As an entrepreneur George is introducing her own invention Style Snaps into the market.
